SHED Program

Sign-up for the SHED 

  • Go to https://www.sitkagear.com/training and scroll down to click on the orange text ‘Create Account.’ 
  • Fill out the required information in the on-site pop-up 
    • If you leave a space after your name or email, it will not be accepted by the system and will prompt you to correct the error 
  • You will be required to upload a pay stub, verifying employment
    • You can gray/ cross out any pay rate or personal information, but must show full name, date of pay stub, and place of employment 
  • After you submit the application, you should get an email verifying your application submission within 30minutes 
    • Check your ‘Spam’ and ‘Junk’ folders if you do not see it 
  • Within 72 hours, you should get an email saying your account was approved 
    • Read through this email completely, as it has the terms and conditions you agree to through using the SHED 
    • This email will have a link to login and start training! 

Tips for Using the SHED

  • SHED works best in a non-Safari browser 
  • As you complete training, your discount will increase (6000 points currently gets to the max discount of 55% off)
    • It takes 24 hours after training for your discount to fully update (EX: If you train on a Wednesday, you will not see the new discount level reflected in the online store until Thursday)
  • If your discount is working, but you notice some items don’t reflect that, they are likely exceptions or exclusions 
    • SITKA reserves the right to exclude items from the SHED or change pricing based on the item
    • Hunt, fish, footwear, wader and equipment product may hold different discounts 

SHED Account Renewal (Must happen yearly, based on sign-up date) 

  • We have enacted a reminder email for SHED renewal dates
    • You will now get an email 30-days out from your renewal deadline and again 1-week out from your renewal deadline
    • If you do not renew your account before the deadline, there will be extra steps that need to be completed (see below)
  • To renew your account, simply click the link in the renewal email and ‘Start Application’ on the webpage that opens
    • You will need to upload a new/ current pay stub
    • You should get your renewal acceptance email within 72 hours
  • If you do not renew your account by the renewal deadline, you can still reinstate your account, as outlined below: 
    • Sign into your account (If you are locked-out/ have not logged-in in a while, you can click ‘Forgot your password?’ under the black ‘Login’ box)
      • https://www.sitkagear.com/training 
      • Scroll down to ‘Login’ in the orange block 
      • After logging-in, paste the main SHED link (https://www.sitkagear.com/training) in the browser again and hit enter
        • This page should load with a ‘Start Application’ button
        • Fill-out the information requested and upload a new/ current pay stub
        • You should get your renewal acceptance email within 72 hours
